PCB Assembly Assistant

You
Join our PCB Assembly Team and bring your enthusiasm, attention to detail and your motivation to strive for continuous improvement. The PCB Assembly Team support the delivery of exceptional products to our partners through their precision assembly of electrical components and are part of the broader multidisciplinary Production Team.

The Role
  • Perform self-directed maintenance within the department.
  • Report on KPIs to the PCB Assembly Technician Lead.
  • Undertake professional development opportunities.
  • Explore asset manuals and other resources to continually develop knowledge and skills.
  • Actively take ownership of projects to achieve delivery targets as agreed with the PCB Assembly Technician Lead.
  • Assemble components onto printed circuit boards, capture issues in SRs and action as appropriate before passing to production engineering for review.

  • Ability to follow standard processes and work within a Quality Management System.
  • Reliability and positive attitude.
  • High reliability soldering skills and experience.
  • Ability to solder fine pitched SMT components.
  • Ability to solder according to Lead Free (RoHS) processes.
  • A high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team.
  • IPC Certification 610 (highly desirable).
