We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Production Engineer, to become an integral part of our Production team. Having a strong work ethic, high attention to detail and good organisational skills will contribute greatly to your success in this role. We require someone who can support the full scope of the Production function, with excellent computer skills.

You will be embraced by a highly supportive and collaborative team, where you can find your feet. Our production group is organised into multidisciplinary teams, responsible for complete project delivery. As a Production Engineer, you will be contributing to the full scope of the production engineering function. The role responsibilities will include:
Sourcing, commissioning and developing equipment and systems to support electronic assembly including solder paste printing, SPI, laser marking, pick and place, vapour phase/convection reflow, AOI, flying probe, ICT, selective solder, conformal coat potting, PCB washing, X-ray etc;
Providing technical and hands on support to resolve equipment, assembly and process faults while liaising with technicians and assembly team leads;
Supporting the design for manufacture process and review of internal designs;
Developing production files, jigs and equipment and liaising with customers for contract manufacturing projects;
Providing technical support to other departments with respect to the electronics assembly processes;
Developing processes with an eye for innovation using ‘Lean’ tools;
