Quality Control Officer

You

We’re looking for a Quality Control Officer to join our Quality team and play a key role in ensuring the products we design and manufacture meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and reliability.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working across teams to maintain quality and continuously improve processes.

You’ll be at the frontline of quality, inspecting incoming goods – work in progress and outgoing products, supporting audits, and helping to build a culture of quality excellence across IntelliDesign.

The Role

Conduct incoming, outgoing, and work-in-progress inspections using risk-based methodologies
Identify, document, and manage non-conformances
Verify vendor documentation and quality conformance records
Generate and sign quality documentation (e.g., CoC, RoHS)
Perform internal audits, first article inspections, and production audits
Support compliance with ISO-aligned quality management systems
Contribute to IntelliDesign’s IMS and regulatory compliance obligations
Provide guidance and training on quality tools and processes
Support IPC-A-620 competency training and certification
Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements

Things that matter to us

2+ years’ experience in a quality control or manufacturing role (electronics experience highly regarded)
High attention to detail with strong observational skills
Proficiency with measurement and inspection tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges)
Well-developed and effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Experience working within regulated or quality-driven environments (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, etc.)
IPC certification, internal auditor certification, or an engineering qualification (desirable but not essential).
