We’re seeking an Electronics Engineering Student Intern to join our Design & Engineering team over the summer university break.
This is a paid, full-time internship designed for students who want real-world engineering experience beyond theory and lab exercises. Over approximately three months, you’ll work alongside experienced Electronics, Software, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineers, gaining exposure to the full product development lifecycle.
Rather than being assigned a single task, you’ll contribute to a variety of projects and experience how design decisions translate into manufactured products on a production floor.
IntelliDesign partners with progressive organisations to create game-changing electronic products for industry. Our products are designed and manufactured in Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane, and deployed globally across medical, mining, transportation, defence and industrial environments.
From concept through to production, we combine creative design innovation with aerospace-quality manufacturing to deliver products that perform in demanding applications. Guided by our values of Innovation, Quality and Together, we’re passionate about developing both great products and great people.
At IntelliDesign you’ll experience something many internships can’t offer: the opportunity to see products move from design through to manufacture, all under one roof.
You’ll gain:
* Meaningful, hands-on engineering experience
* Exposure to multidisciplinary product development
* Mentoring from experienced engineers
* A supportive and collaborative team environment
* Access to advanced engineering and manufacturing facilities
* Opportunities to build practical skills that complement your university studies
* Potential pathways to future graduate opportunities
Location: Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks over the Summer 2026/27 university break.
