The Role
    Things that matter to us
    • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
    • 2 years’ experience (desirable) as an electronic technician testing and repairing at board level
    • Experience using Altium is essential
    • Ability to problem solve / fault find on modern SMT electronic devices
    • Proficient using electronic test equipment including multi-meters and multi-channel oscilloscopes
    • Ability to read and understand schematics
    • High reliability soldering skills
    • Able to solder fine pitched SMT components (at least two years’ experience) including QFN, 0402 and connector rework. Experience reworking BGA/LGA devices would be highly favoured
    • Ability to solder according to Lead Free (RoHS) processes
    • Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team
    • IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Certification (desirable)
    • IPC IPC-7711/7721 Rework, Modification, And Repair of Electronic Assemblies Certification (desirable)
