LX1 Hardware Platform for Optimising Mining Operations
iVolve's LX1 is an industrial brain designed for heavy machinery installation in Agriculture, Mining & Construction, designed for high-volume machine data processing & broad machine interface capability.
Challenge
The design challenge of the LX1 was to create a low-cost device that allowed for wider implementation across sites and businesses that previously didn't have the budget to install a smart piece of hardware across their entire fleet. The LX1 had to facilitate access to safety and productivity data and be rugged and dependable for business continuity. It had to be easy to install (small and plug and play features) along with easy troubleshooting visuals for support teams.
The LX1 is a ground-up redesign of the iVolve’s previous generation Nexis system. This generational product focused on increasing accessibility for customers with a lower cost solution, giving small to mid-tier miners access to technology.
Designed to be lightweight & fit into small spaces, the LX1 is easy to install with simple LED indicators that are easy to understand. It has been engineered with high strength engineering polymers with chemical resistance, and water resistance up to an IP67 standard.

Built Tough
The LX1 is built for the tough and rugged environments it will operate in, with high protection against water and dust ingress and -40°C to +85°C operating range.
Visual Language
Aesthetically, the visual language of the LX1 fits in with iVolve's newly designed brand and product guideline that is scoped within iVolve's ongoing roadmap across future products and company vision. All of iVolve's products are user-focused and user-designed with a simple and intuitive interface for operators and management alike.
